This workshop, rooted in the principles of patient-centered care, aims to enhance communication strategies, foster empathy, drive compassion and build resilience among healthcare providers. Participants will engage in interactive sessions led by experienced facilitators, including pediatric palliative care specialists, psychosocial clinicians, and communication experts. The workshop covers a range of topics, from breaking difficult news and discussing treatment options to addressing end-of-life care and bereavement support. Through role-playing exercises, case studies, and reflective discussions, attendees gain practical insights into tailoring communication to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients and their families. The workshop emphasizes a holistic approach, acknowledging the emotional, cultural, and ethical dimensions of pediatric palliative care communication. Attendees learn to establish trust, listen effectively, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and compassionate care. Three special faculty assembled here bring knowledge and skills from UK\/Europe, South East Asia and Australia\/New Zealand. This goes to ensure topics discussed are culturally congruent and contextually relevant as much as possible.
