Registration

Registration for the congress is possible exclusively through the online registration system. It will not be possible to register on the day of the congress. The congress registration will close on the 20th September 2020. Fees for congress participants include:

  • Attendance to all scientific sessions
  • Delegate’s bag with printed Congress material
  • Entrance to the Exhibition
  • Coffee breaks and refreshments according to the program
  • Opening Ceremony and “Icebreaker” Reception on Wednesday 7th October 2020

The official language for the congress workshops, plenary and parallel sessions is English. Simultaneous translation to Italian is foreseen only in plenary.

Pre-congress Workshops The pre-congress courses will run simultaneously on 7th October 2020 from 8:30 to 16:30. Please notice that pre-conference courses can only be booked on the online registration system in connection with the registration for the congress. Participation in the pre-congress courses will be limited to a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 80 participants, places will be allocated on a first come first-served basis. Fees for Participants include:

  • Attendance in the selected workshop
  • Coffee break with refreshments

EPEC-Pediatrics Train the Trainer will be held on the 11th and 12th of October 2020. Please notice that EPEC- Pediatrics Train the Trainer can only be booked through the  online registration system in connection with the registration for the congress. Participation  will be limited to maximum of 54 participants, places will be allocated on a first come first-served basis. Fees for Participants include:

  • 2-day face-to-face workshop 
  • Access to 18 online self-study modules (pain and symptom management, grief and bereavement, child development etc.)
  • Workshop kitbag (badge, notes, pen etc.)
  • Access to EPEC Dropbox materials
  • Light lunch during Congress days
  • Refreshments during coffee breaks
  • Certificate of participation (issued to participants completing ALL of the educational sessions)
  • Training materials included in the curriculum (on achievement of the certification)

Important: All bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid in addition to the registration fees. If payment is made by a company or for more than one person, please make sure all names are indicated. In order to benefit from the reduced registration fee, registration and the relevant payment be completed by 31th May 2020. Thereafter the registration fees will increase as published.

CONFIRMATION As soon as the Secretariat has received the complete registration form and the required payment, a written confirmation will be sent by e-mail.

INVOICES Only digital versions of invoices will be sent to participants upon completion of the online registration. The invoice will be issued using the contact details provided on the registration form.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Prior to 31st May 2020 - Full refund less €35 handling fees
  • From  1st June 2020 until to 2th August 2020 - 50% refund
  • After 2th August 2020 – No refund

PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS By registering for the 5th  Maruzza International Congress on Paediatric Palliative Care all participants acknowledge and authorize the Congress Organizers the right to photograph and videotape congress delegates and to use such photographs and videos in any internal and external communication referring to the Congress, such as on its website, or other publications.

PRIVACY POLICY Any personal information provided will be recorded and stored in the Foundation Maruzza’s database. Your personal information is not shared with third parties; however, we may use it internally to contact you about our work in the future. Any details you give us will be held in accordance with the Italian Data Protection Act 196/03, you may withdraw your consent at any time by request to: the Congress Secretariat at icppc@maruzza.org
